Another Tradition Returns! Psi Stampede 2015 – Saturday, April 18

Category : News

Posted: March 11, 2015

One of the biggest challenges with the recolonization was the loss of many traditions of the Psi Chapter.  Younger alumni and actives who have yet to participate in a Psi Stampede and those alumni who were able participate in this tradition are excited to bring the event back.

9:14 a.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday: Golf outing at Highland Springs (8 Tee times for 32 players have been reserved)

2 p.m. (after golf outing): Informal Meeting and picnic luncheon. Picnic will be at the park near Beta (first pavilion and walking distance from the house), catching up with the brothers, beverages will be supplied then good times at Bubba’s later in the evening.

Lodging: Due to a canceled event, The Gresham House is available for lodging.  It is believed rooms are two double beds so the price is about $35 per night, double occupancy.  Lodging will be up to those who come.  If you need lodging, please contact The Gresham House directly at (304) 829-4343

If you would like to attend, please signup at the form below!

If you cannot attend but would like to donate to help the house keep these traditions alive, you can donate by visiting

Golf Outing Information:

Format for the Golf Event

  • The event will either be held at Highland Springs or Oglebay (depending on availability and cost)
  • The Actives (juniors, sophomores and freshman) will caddy or fore-caddy for the alumni.
  • Graduating seniors will also golf, hopefully with older alumni.
  • We plan to arrange for successive tee times beginning around 9:30 so we can finish and head to the House at around 2:00.
  • Brothers will be finishing up preparations for our Feast.
  • We will have a very short meeting and Pass the Loving Cup
  • Following our meal brothers are welcome to stay and tell stories, head to Bubba’s or make their way home.

We will ‘tip’ our caddies in a Live auction with proceeds benefiting the actives favorite charity; the Augusta Levy Center for Autism in Wheeling, West Virginia.
